Coweta Fayette EMC Natural Gas Leadership

J. Neal Shepard, Jr., is Chairman of the Board for Coweta-Fayette EMC Natural Gas and is President of Neal Shepard and Associates, Inc. He has been in the life insurance business for 35 years. Mr. Shepard has been a member of the EMC for 19 years and a director for the past 14 years. He previously served four terms in the Georgia Legislature, including four years as the Reagan liaison to the White House. Mr. Shepard also currently serves as Secretary-Treasurer of the Coweta-Fayette EMC Board of Directors and is Chairman of the Coweta County Water and Sewer Authority. He is a graduate of West Georgia State University and lives with his wife, Jodie, in Newnan.

J. Lee Hunter is Vice Chairman of the Board for Coweta-Fayette EMC Natural Gas and was Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer for Southwire Company in Carrollton, Georgia, before his retirement in 2007. He graduated from Georgia Tech with a degree in Electrical Engineering and from the State University of West Georgia with an MBA. Mr. Hunter is a Registered Professional Engineer, a Certified Energy Manager, and was awarded a U.S. Patent. He has previously served on the Board of Directors of IDEA, Inc., and of the OMICRON Corp. Mr. Hunter has been a member of the EMC for 28 years. He and his wife, Susan, have two children and live in Newnan.

Alice J. Mallory is the Secretary-Treasurer for Coweta-Fayette EMC Natural Gas and is a retired Fayette County schoolteacher. Mrs. Mallory also currently serves as a Director on the Coweta-Fayette EMC Board of Directors. She has been an EMC member for 28 years and a director for 14 years. Mrs. Mallory is a graduate of Auburn University and lives with her husband, Ted, and two children in Fayetteville.

Elwood Thompson is a Director on the Board for Coweta-Fayette EMC Natural Gas and is retired from the William L. Bonnell Company in Newnan where he was the Computer Operations Senior Analyst. Mr. Thompson also currently serves as Chairman of the Coweta-Fayette EMC Board of Directors. He has been a member of the EMC for 46 years and an EMC director for the past 23 years. He and his wife, Mary Jane, have three grown children and live in Moreland.

Elaine Gaillard is a Board Member at Large for Coweta-Fayette EMC Natural Gas and for the past 10 years has been the Director of Marketing for Ashley Glen Assisted Living in Peachtree City. She also serves as Vice President of the Board of Directors for Fayette Senior Services, Inc., where she has been a Board member for the past 10 years. Ms. Gaillard has served on the Peachtree City Rotary Board of Directors for the last 5 years and formerly was a Board member for the Fayette County Chamber of Commerce. She has been a member of the EMC for 21 years. Ms. Gaillard was married to the late James D. Gaillard, has one daughter, and resides in Fayetteville.

Chuck Johnson is a Board Member at Large for Coweta-Fayette EMC Natural Gas. Mr. Johnson is owner of Chuck Johnson, CPA, which supplies specialized accounting and financial services that help people attain their financial goals. He has served on the Board of Directors of the Newnan Kiwanis Club, Habitat for Humanity, the United Way, and the Newnan-Coweta Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Johnson is a graduate of The University of Georgia and resides in Brooks. He has two children.

Dwight Ellison was formerly Vice President of Corporate Security for Turner Broadcasting System and Deputy Assistant Director of Investigations for the U.S. Secret Service. He is a Board Member and immediate past President of the Summit Family YMCA and a Board Member for First Coweta Bank. A former English teacher for the LaGrange (GA) Public School System, he now volunteers his time as a mentor for Coweta County Schools. Mr. Ellison is a graduate of Clark College, now known as Clark Atlanta University, and resides in Newnan with his wife, Kathy. He has two adult daughters and two grandchildren.

Anthony H. “Tony” Sinclair is the current President and CEO of Coweta-Fayette EMC. He was most recently General Manager for the Missoula Electric Cooperative in Missoula, Montana, where he was responsible for the cooperative’s engineering, operations, accounting, and customer service and information technology. During his time in Missoula, he served as a Director of the Missoula Area Economic Development Corporation, actively supported the Seeley Lake Chamber of Commerce, and founded an employee team to participate in the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life event. A native of Baldwin County, Alabama, Mr. Sinclair also was formerly Chief Financial Officer of Joe Wheeler EMC near Decatur, Alabama, and Manager of Member Services for Baldwin EMC on the Alabama Gulf Coast. He is a graduate of the University of South Alabama and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). He resides in Coweta County with his wife, Susan, and has two children.
